Message view and selection

There are three major components of interest
- Left side - List of all the message folders available,
grouped by the source (email database) file. Number of messages is
indicated next to each entry.
- Top right - List of messages in the current folder. Here
you select the messages for recovery (note: up to 9 messages per
email database file can be selected in the evaluation version). The list displays at most 500
messages at once. Use "<<" and ">>" buttons to navigate between
500-message blocks if the need arises.
- Bottom right - Message details (bottom right), indicating
"From", "Subject" and "Date" fields of the message, if available.
Attachment file names and message text are also listed, and the
message body is shown on the both HTML and Plain tabs.
Note:
- HTML body is rendered properly only for Outlook (.pst)
message database file(s).
- In case the messages were recovered from Thunderbird or Outlook
Express (.dbx) database files, a message body is displayed as a raw,
non-rendered content, including all the formatting codes.

Here you can specify search terms to find the specific message. Search
criteria are "Subject", "From", "Date", or "Attachments". Enter
the desired text (or part of it) without
quotation marks or asterisks, then click "Start search". Use ">>" and
"<<" buttons on this window to move between matching messages. |
